In Domain user restrictions under the Organization domain section, the users (members) who have verified their domains will be restricted from leaving their organization. The users who have not verified their domains will not be restricted from leaving their organization.
In User accounts, there are two functions:
Disallow users to leave the Organization under this domain name.
Disallow users to delete their accounts under this domain name.
If the organization owner (Org owner) clicks the "Edit" button, they will be able to edit this section.
In the Account profile section under My account, a user can view all the members who belong to the organization and various departments. If an organization contains a single owner, that owner cannot leave the organization as he/she is the only owner or admin for that organization.
In the Account profile section, if there are multiple owners available in the organization, any one of the owners can leave the organization. So, if any owner wants to leave the organization, the leaving owner should click on the “Leave organization” button.
Note: After clicking the Leave organization, an email request notification regarding the owner leaving the organization will be sent to the owner and to the remaining owners.
At the same time, a confirmation box will appear instantly after clicking the leave organization. To continue with this action, the owner should type LEAVE in the available field and then click the “Leave organization” button below the available field. When the leave organization process is completed, an email notification will be sent to the requested owner and the remaining owners.
If the member’s domain is added and it has been verified, a request email regarding leaving the organization will be sent to all the organization owners. The member will have the “Request organization admin” link on the right end of his/her account to leave the organization.
At the same time, a confirmation box will appear instantly after clicking the Request organization admin. To continue with this action, the member should type LEAVE in the available field and then click the “Request to leave organization” button right below the available field.
Warning: If the member’s account belongs to the organization’s un-verified domain, the organization owners will allow all the requested members to leave their organization themselves.
Since the account’s domain has been verified, the owner can only remove the member from that organization. Here, the other accounts of the members leaving will be retained to access other organizations. So, that member can discuss with all the organization owners before proceeding with the action.
On the right end of the member’s account section, there is a message - ‘A request to leave the organization is in progress’ along the clickable links “Request again” and “Revoke request”.
If the member taps on the “Revoke request” link, a box will appear instantly regarding the confirmation on revoking the leave organization request. When the revoking member clicks the “Revoke request” button, an email request notification will be sent to the revoked member and the organization owner as well.
An email request message regarding leaving the organization will be sent to the member who wants to leave the organization. Similarly, an email request message regarding revoking the leaving organization that will be sent to the member who wants to revoke the request to leave the organization.
When organization owners accept and confirm the leave organization request from the requested member, an email notification after leaving organization will be sent to the member. Similarly, when the organization owners accept and confirm the revoked organization request from the requested member, an email notification after leaving organization request revoked will be sent to the member.
If the member’s domain has not been added or not been verified, that member becomes an external member. Hence, the members will be able to directly leave their organization. When the member clicks the “Leave organization” button, a confirmation box will appear instantly.
Note: After tapping the Leave organization, an email notification about the member leaving the organization will be sent to the member and to organization owners as well.
To proceed with this action, the member should type LEAVE in the available field and then click the “Leave organization” button right below the available field in the confirmation box.
When the un-verified member has left the organization, an email notification about the removal of the member’s account from the organization will be sent to that member and other admins.
In the Users section in Organization settings, the organization owner clicks the “Pending removals” button available on the top right part of the screen.
Instantly, a box with the heading Pending removals appears on the right end of the screen. The box contains a search field and the member requests pending for removal along with "Remove user" and "Restore user" options.
Caution: Clicking on "Remove user" link will remove only the members from the organization but will keep their accounts in 10xWinners OKR for accessing their other organizations.
When the organization owner wants to discard the members’ leave organization requests and restore the members, the owner should tap the "Restore user" link.
A confirmation box regarding restoring the member appears instantly. If the organization owners want to continue with the process of member’s restoration, the owner should click the “Yes, restore user” button.
Then the member who has initiated the restoration request will be restored to the organization. At the same time, an email notification regarding the member’s account restored will be sent to the restoration requested member and other organization owners as well.
Similarly, when the organization owner wants to accept the member’s leave organization request and remove the member, the owner should click the Remove user link. Then a confirmation box regarding removing the member appears instantly. If the organization owners want to continue with the process of member’s account removal from the organization, the owner should click the “Yes, remove user” button.
Then the leave organization requested members will be removed from the organization. At the same time, an email notification about the removed members will be sent to the requested members and other organization owners.
