Instantly get 10xWinners OKR updates and new items as messages in Microsoft Teams.
Microsoft Teams is a comprehensive platform for collaborative communication, centered around persistent chat functionality. It offers a range of valuable features for business communications, including document sharing, online meetings, and various other tools. Effective teamwork relies heavily on having a remarkable shared workspace, enabling creative decision-making and seamless communication among team members.
Our integration with Microsoft Teams offers you the convenience of instantly converting updates, new items, and changes from a specific item into messages within MS Teams. This seamless integration ensures that everyone on your team has access to the latest information, enabling them to work collaboratively across both platforms while staying synchronized.
By leveraging this integration, you can streamline communication and ensure that all team members are well-informed and equipped to work efficiently with the most up-to-date information available.
We provide two options for integrating MS Teams with 10xWinners OKRs. One is by 'Creating incoming webhook' and second is by 'Authentication'.
To create an incoming webhook for a Microsoft Teams channel, open MS Teams and navigate to the desired channel.
Click on the ellipses (...) next to the channel name and select "Connectors" from the dropdown menu.
In the Connectors window, search for "Incoming Webhook" and click on it.
In the Incoming Webhook configuration page, provide a name for the webhook and an image to represent it.
Then click on the "Create" button.
Once when webhook is created, you'll see a unique URL generated for the webhook. Copy this URL as it can be used to send messages to the teams channel.
Optionally, you can configure additional settings such as setting a custom name for the sender, adding a description, or selecting an icon for the webhook. These settings are not mandatory and can be configured based on your requirements. After configuring the webhook settings, click on the "Done" button to complete the process.
Once the incoming webhook is created, you can use this webhook URL to send messages and notifications to the Teams channel. You can make HTTP POST requests to the webhook URL with the desired payload to send messages, cards, or other content to the channel. Keep the webhook URL secure and only share it with authorized users or systems that need to post messages on the channel.
The Webhook URL appears just like this: https://88gkwm.webhook.office.com/webhookb2/8d93f8c2-87d7-44bd-ab60-a9b84d818755@8c650f67-509a-489a-880b-986061e8b498/IncomingWebhook/45c2c9be1647419182fbbe309dbb576c/e7a6c2a1-6fa0-49b4-9859-9147a40aa1d0
