Deleting an organization is a critical action, particularly when active OKR’s and ongoing collaborations are in place. Before proceeding, it is essential to consider the consequences, as this decision will affect both internal and external users associated with your 10xWinners account.
Only organization owners have the authority to access the "Delete Organization" section and begin the deletion process.
Navigate to the "Manage Organizations" General page.
Scroll down to locate the "Delete Organization" section.
Click the "Delete Organization" button.
Delete all users: Selecting this option will permanently remove all users with email addresses associated with domains from your organization.
Retain specific users: This option allows you to manually select users to retain, whose email addresses associated with domains.
An unverified domain is one that has not been officially verified by your organization, meaning domain ownership is not confirmed. For more information, follow the domain verification process on the domain page.
External users, who are not part of your organization’s internal directory but have access to certain features or resources, will lose access to the deleted organization. However, they can continue using the 10xWinners OKR platform for other organizations after the deletion.
To delete any users not using your organization’s domain, refer to the domain verification process on the domain page.
Review the terms of use and acknowledge the deletion.
Confirm the deletion by clicking "Continue with Deletion."
An email will be sent to all organization owners who requested the deletion. Follow the instructions provided in the email to complete the process.
Restoring an organization is a critical action when a deletion request was made in error or when it is necessary to re-establish access to active OKRs and ongoing collaborations. Before proceeding with the restoration, it is important to consider the impact on both internal and external users associated with your 10xWinners account.
Restoration is possible only within the stipulated timeframe.
All organization owners have the authority to restore an organization marked for deletion within few days. For example, the owners can restore the organization from deletion within 15 days as mentioned in the email received. Clicking the restore option will halt the deletion process and reinstate the organization with the data as it was before.
